As I’m writing the previous post, I lean forward to look a little more closely at something on the screen, and then I lean back (and I don’t mean the bacon).
Because I have my glasses hanging by a cord (I only need them for “distance” work – like looking at the TV from across the room), they’re on my stomach (I hunch) and as I lean back, the frame catches on the edge of the table and out pop both lenses, straight onto the floor.
And of course, it’s grown dark as I’ve been setting up the blog and I haven’t switched on any lights. So now I daren’t move because one wrong foot and I’ll step on a lens and right now I can’t afford to replace anything.
And that’s how it goes. Treading gingerly in the dark. Hey. That could be a better tagline for the blog. Or maybe I could set up another blog, just so I can use that as a tagline.
ASIG. (That’s going to be a common feature of my posts from now on. I can’t be bothered to type “And So It Goes” every time, so ASIG will substitute.)
